Russian Spam Geniuses

noalbert.jpgHey, Russian spammers!  I can’t read your spam.  Not that I want to, but I thought the whole point was to get people to buy something.

I’ll bet I get 30-50 of these a day at work.

It goes on for 5 more paragraphs, but you get the idea.  I’m not going to bother to spell check this entry, and you can imagine why.

The spam filter at work catches probably 95% of these.  but after receiving hundreds of them, I still can’t read Cyrillic, and I’m not planning to start any time soon.  But I can imagine it’s some Russian faux-pharma company trying to get me to buy cheap, knock-off Russian Viagra, or buy a Russian bride.

I don’t need either, thank you very much, but I’m sure it’s naive to think that it will ever go away.

Thank God and software engineers for spam filters.
